* Note: I want to be sure to give credit where it's due. In the process of learning to paint and draw, I've used numerous books and videos as a reference. As a result, I've reproduced other artists work while learning and I've noted them with the asterisk on this site. All of the art on this site was painted or drawn by me, but some are my reproductions of other artists work as suggested by their instructional material.
I've lived in Bucks County, PA all my life, and have always admired the beautiful farms and barns that make up the countryside. Their numbers have decreased greatly over the years, so I take photos whenever I see a farm or barn that catches my eye.
Pen & Ink was my favorite medium years ago, because I always seemed to struggle with color. About 2005 I made the effort to learn watercolor painting by researching books and taking classes.
I'm always looking for photos of farms and barns that would make a good painting.
